Lucknow: The rainy season is going on. According to the latest estimates by the Meteorological Department on July 26, the monsoon will pick up pace in UP. It is estimated that on 26, 27 and 28 July, almost every part of the state may receive good rainfall. For these 3 days, the Meteorological Department has also issued an Orange Alert in the state. During this time, there is a possibility of excessive rainfall in many cities of the state. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has requested people to be vigilant.

According to the latest forecast, heavy rain can be seen in many cities of Purvanchal and Terai. By noon, rainfall has been forecasted in Jaunpur, Sultanpur, Ambedkaranagar, Basti and Ayodhya. Apart from this, rainfall has also been forecast in Balrampur, Bahraich, Siddharthnagar, Gorakhpur and Maharajganj. Meanwhile, the information that gives relief is that Etawah, which is scorched at 38 degree Celsius temperature, is also expected to be relieved.

The possibility of rain has been expressed in Etawah by noon. For the last two-three days, the highest temperature is being recorded in Etawah. According to the weather department's estimate, Thursday was a drought in the state in terms of rainfall. Only two districts, Lakhimpur Kheri and Bahraich received rainfall. Lakhimpur Kheri has recorded 7.2 mm of rainfall while Bahraich has recorded 9.8 mm of rainfall. No other cities of the state have recorded rainfall. With this, security has been increased in the state.
