The upcoming Vanasthalipuram Inter-City Satellite Bus Terminal is planned as per corona safety norms. The Hyderabad metropolitan development authority is constructing this terminal considering the present Covid-19 epidemic scenario. It is designed to follow the physical distance rules for people.

This bus terminal was established due to the rush of bus transporters. Vanasthalipuram Satellite Bus Terminal is intended to release stress on city roads. There will be a budget of Rs 10 crore to clear the confusion at the Elbi Nagar bus station for inter-city and inter-state buses. It has connectivity to buses via NH-65 highway from Hyderabad and Secunderabad to Vijayawada, Nalgonda, Vizag and others. It has six bus bays and has the ability to allow 16,650 passengers a day with social distance.

Each bus bay has a seating capacity as per the Covid rules --- 21 passengers in AC and 48 passengers in non-AC divisions. 39.2 per cent of intra-state passengers, 49.1 per cent inter-state passengers and 11.7 per cent intra-city passengers are likely to travel. The objective of this project is to maintain and maintain every standard of quality, providing cost-effective transport services to citizens. Considering the Covid scenario, the terminal is designed to follow social distance rules for people, says Sauna Kothawar, Principal Architect of Vivog Design Studio, working with HMDA on contract ing for the project.
