UPSC CSE Result 2020: Shubham Kumar, a resident of Katihar in Bihar, has inscribed his name at the first position in the country's prestigious Civil Services Examination 2020. Yes, let me tell you all that Shubham had earlier secured 290th rank in the 2019 examination. You must be aware that the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the examination results last Friday. Talking about Shubham, he studied at IIT Mumbai.
He hails from Kumhari village in the Kadwa block of Katihar, while many students from Bihar have performed brilliantly beside him. According to the information received, Praveen, a resident of Chakai in Jamui, has been ranked seventh. Talking about Shubham, he has done his B.Tech from IIT Bombay and has succeeded in his third attempt. Let me also tell all of you that Shubham is a resident of Kumhadi village in Kadwa block of Katihar and his father Devanand Singh is a rural bank manager. Shubham Kumar is currently undergoing training at the National Defence Financial Management Academy in Pune.
Talking to a website recently, he said, "My dream was to become an IAS as it provides an opportunity to work on a big platform for the betterment of the people. It is complete and I would like to work for the underprivileged, especially in the rural areas. My father encouraged me and helped me maintain a positive attitude which helped me to pass the exam.''
