USA: Users of WhatsApp will soon be able to post status updates directly to Facebook stories without ever leaving the app. The iOS app's beta version is currently working on the new capability.

It is not yet prepared for release. We can, however, at least get a sneak preview thanks to WABetaInfo. The status settings will have the feature available.

Previously, sharing status updates to Facebook Stories required quitting WhatsApp and following a manual procedure. The soon-to-be-available feature, however, will make the process simple by saving time and effort.

Without leaving WhatsApp, the status updates can be shared on the Facebook story. For some status updates, people will also be able to automate the process.

Users of WhatsApp for iOS will be able to share status updates to Facebook Stories more efficiently thanks to the new feature. The selection will by default be disabled. The ability to share status updates to Facebook stories directly through WhatsApp will be available once it is active, though. Accounts will have the option to choose which status updates are shared consistently. It can also be made the default option.

We're currently working on a new WhatsApp feature that will let you share status updates to Facebook stories without ever leaving the app. It will be made accessible in a later version of the iOS WhatsApp beta. In the near future, WhatsApp is anticipated to introduce a feature that allows users to share in-app status updates to Instagram stories.

The native iOS app for WhatsApp is currently undergoing a number of in-app section updates. The new design will be used in the Settings, where each section will have rounded corners and small border margins on all sides, according to WABetaInfo. This new design will be implemented in a number of other areas of the app in addition to the Settings.

The new aesthetic will put an emphasis on providing a visual design that is consistent throughout the app and has a noticeably cleaner appearance. Furthermore, it will improve the experience's aesthetic appeal. This enhancement is currently being worked on by WhatsApp, and it will be made available to all beta testers via a future update of the app. But after testing, it will be made available to all users.
