The wife alleged that the husband also assaulted her and divorced her. The wife told that the husband tells her - you have become fat, so do not want to live with you. Her husband has also given a divorce notice.
The victim says that she wants to live with her husband, but her husband is not ready to keep her. Najma, a resident of Zakir Colony in Meerut, was married to Salman, a resident of Fatehpur in Meerut, eight years ago. They also have a seven-year-old child. Najma says that her husband gave her a divorce notice first. According to Najma, the husband divorced her a few days after she was served a divorce notice. Najma alleges that her husband divorced her only because she has become fat after nikah and her husband says you have become fat so now I will not keep you with me.
The victim says that a month ago, her husband threw her out of the house and sent a divorce notice to the house, after which the wife alleges that her husband Salman divorced her and the reason for the divorce only said that she has become fat. Najma says she has a 7-year-old son and what will she do? Najma says she wants to live with her husband, but the husband no longer wants to keep her. Najma reached Police Station Lisadi Gate in Meerut and pleaded for justice there. In this case, CO Kotwali Arvind Chaurasia says that no such case has come to his notice yet, if it is true, strict action will be taken.
