Lucknow: The owner of a company known for installing loudspeakers at various religious fairs across the country for the past eight decades, on Monday committed suicide. According to the report, 60-year-old Praveen Malaviya, owner of ASHA & Co, kept installing loudspeakers under his company at Kumbh, Ardh-Kumbh and Magh Melas on the banks of the Ganga here at Nashik, Haridwar and Ujjain and other places in the country. The body of Praveen Malviya was found hanging from a snare in the storeroom of his house in the Civil Lines area here today.
SHO of Civil Lines police station Virendra Yadav said that the police, who rushed to the spot after receiving information, have removed the body and sent it for postmortem. The exact cause of death will be known only after the postmortem report comes. At the same time, Praveen Malaviya's son Yasharth told the police that his father had gone for a walk in the morning like every day.
Yasharth told the police that when the father did not return home for a long time, his mother called his friends. His friends said that his father did not come for a walk today. Meanwhile, Malviya's body was found hanging in the storeroom and the police were informed. The youngest of the three brothers, Malviya has a wife, a son and a daughter in his family.
