Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, there has been an attempt to attack cabinet minister Siddharth Nath Singh. The man who came to attack had brought poison and blades. However, the accused was caught by activists and security personnel. The attempt to attack took place when Siddharth Nath Singh was on his way to fill his form. The incident is being reported from the BJP office at Mundera Transport Nagar. The man had risen to attack the minister, only then was he caught.

In the UP elections, the BJP has fielded minister Siddharth Nath Singh from Prayagraj West, from which he is contesting for the second time. The fifth phase of the UP elections is scheduled to be held on February 27. In 2017, Siddharth Nath Singh defeated Samajwadi Party candidate Richa Singh. Singh is the cabinet minister in UP as well as the spokesperson of the state government.

Let us know that Siddharth Nath Singh is the grandson of the former PM of the country Lal Bahadur Shastri. From an activist in the organization, he has travelled from a minister in the UP cabinet.
