Uttar Pradesh: High speed bus plunged into trench, 25 passengers were aboard

Baghpat: The high-speed roadways overturned in a ditch on the Sonepat-Meerut highway in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. Out of 25 passengers on board, 5 are said to be seriously injured. Police rushed to the spot and rushed all the injured to the district hospital for treatment. The driver of the bus has escaped from the spot.

The incident took place in The Singhwali Ahir police station area. Here, a speeding bus of the roadways going from Baghpat to Meerut near Dola village on Meerut-Sonipat Highway went unchecked and overturned in a ditch along the highway, with 25 passengers on board. Five of them were seriously injured, while the rest suffered minor injuries.

After the bus overturned, people screamed and five passengers were seriously injured. While the driver of the bus has been absconding since the accident and the passengers say that the accident was due to negligence of the bus driver, the police is currently investigating the incident.
