Baghpat: In Chhaprauli area of Baghpat district in Uttar Pradesh, on Monday, masked criminals looted about Rs 15 lakh from the manager of a syndicate bank in daylight. Police sources have informed about this incident. He said that three masked miscreants entered the branch of Syndicate Bank of Tugana village under Chhaprauli area at around 2:15 pm and captured Branch Manager Harmendar Singh and Class IV employee Bhudev at the tip of the gun.

The miscreants scared both of them and took the key of lockup from them and looted about 15 lakh rupees kept there. He said that before the robbery, the miscreants uprooted the DVR of the CCTV camera in the bank and escaped, threatening to kill them. The police were informed of the incident after the miscreants left. The police came into action as soon as the information was received and immediately the Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramanand Kushwaha reached the spot and started investigating the miscreants, but could not find any clue.
