Lucknow: A tragic incident took place in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur on Saturday. A fire broke out in a chemical factory here with a sharp blast due to a boiler burst. The fire that broke out after the loud explosion took a ferocious form. There was a stampede among the people on seeing the high flames of the fire. The firemen were informed in the melee.
Six labourers were also burnt alive in this tragic accident. More labourers are feared to be trapped inside the factory. Police administration officials reached the spot after receiving the news of the accident. Rescue operations are also underway at the factory. The UPID of the Dhaulana area of the district has a factory in which chemicals are made. It is being told that on Saturday afternoon, there was a sudden explosion in the boiler in the factory. The fire broke out from the boiler and burst with a loud explosion.
It is being told that around 25 workers were working inside the factory during the accident. Six workers were burnt alive in the incident. There are also reports of many workers being burnt. Police and administration officials reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. The fire brigade is also reaching the spot and trying to douse the fire. Rescue operations are underway at the factory.
