Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, the Congress is continuously trying to regain its lost political land. National General Secretary of Congress Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has made many major changes in UP Congress organization just a few months back. Due to these organizational changes, senior Congressmen have been sideline from many big posts in the state.

After giving responsibility to the youth and new faces in the state Congress, senior Congressmen have now mobilized against the party. Angry at the neglect of the organizational structure of the state Congress, senior Congressmen held a meeting in Lucknow on Thursday. Many disgruntled senior leaders of Congress attended this meeting held at the residence of senior Congress leader and former MP Santosh Singh in Gomti Nagar.

Among them, dozens of veteran Congress leaders like Vinod Chaudhary, Siraj Mehndi, Ramakrishna Dwivedi, Santosh Singh, Mohammad Nasir, Goswami were present. Last month, a similar meeting was held at the house of former MLC Siraj Henna. In which many veteran Congress workers were involved. It was final in this meeting that the meeting of all the senior Congress leaders who were marginalized should be held in Lucknow. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and the party's problems may increase with these two tearing in the UP Congress.
