Lucknow: The infighting of the Congress has come to the fore again ahead of the proposed assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh next year. Therefore, another leader of the party has resigned. At the same time, party leader Omkar Nath Singh has resigned after a dispute within the Congress over the meeting of political parties with the Election Commission.

On the other hand, UP Congress President Ajay Kumar Lallu has written a letter to Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra saying that the party had not authorized the Congress delegation to meet him on Tuesday. Therefore, an authorized delegation of the party will be sent to meet the commission. According to the information received, Omkar Nath Singh has resigned from all the posts of the party amidst the ongoing tussle in the Congress. On Tuesday, the team of the Central Election Commission met representatives of various political parties and on behalf of Congress, Omkar Nath Singh met with the team of the commission. But these parties have now declared this delegation as unauthorized and for this a new delegation has been constituted. In which senior party leaders Pramod Tiwari, Anuradha Mishra and Naseemuddin Siddiqui have been kept.
