Police sources said on Saturday that Sachin Singh (17), a resident of village Selhuapar village in the area, had gone to Mokalpur market on Friday evening to buy vegetables. On his way back home, he fought with Vikas Yadav. After which Sachin's family members were informed about being injured late at night near the canal near the village.

After receiving the information, the family members who reached the spot took him to the Community Health Centre Madiahun. Where after first aid, the doctors referred him to the district hospital.
