Uttar Pradesh: Bike riding youth caught in high tension wire

Kaushambi: A high tension wire pole broke down on a rough road passing through Alipurjita town in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh and fell over the bike rider. The bike rider was badly scorched due to the high tension wire. The young man's motorcycle was completely burnt to ashes in the incident.

When the locals saw the young man entangled in electric wire and tormented, they somehow pulled the injured young man out and admitted him to a private hospital for treatment. The young man is identified as Rajendra Kumar, a resident of Pratapgarh district of the state. The victim works as an assistant teacher of Mohamedpur Gauti Primary School in Fatehpur district.

According to eyewitnesses, as the teachers were going to school, as usual, a high tension line broke down on them and fell on them, causing a fire in his bike and burning it there. The teacher was seriously injured.  An attempt was also made to talk to officials of the electricity department after the incident. But no official is agreeing to speak in front of the media.
