Massive fire breaks out at school in UP's Gautam Buddh Nagar

Noida: A fierce fire broke out in the JBM Global School located in Sector 132 of the Express-Way police station area of Greater Noida on Sunday morning. After receiving information about the incident, six fire engines of the fire department reached the spot and after three hours of effort, control of the fire was found. In this accident, the third floor of the school has completely burnt down.

Giving information, Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Arun Kumar Singh said that a sudden fire broke out on the third floor of JBM Global School in Sector 132 on Sunday morning. The school library and other classes were engulfed by this fire. He said that after getting information about the incident, six vehicles of fire brigade reached the spot. Fire control could be found after nearly three hours of effort.

The CFO stated that no casualties were reported in the incident. Also told that due to the fire, the school library and all the classrooms located on the third floor have been completely gutted. He said that the cause of the fire is being ascertained. The school was closed at the time of the incident. The CFO said that fire extinguishing equipment is also being investigated in the school.
