Lucknow: Police have launched a search operation to nab the culprits in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. Late at night, the police barricaded and searched the vehicles. In fact, the police had received inputs that a vicious miscreant trying to rob the petrol pump was coming. The police laid a trap to nab the miscreant and during this time an encounter broke out between the police and the miscreants while trying to escape.  In the firing from both sides, he was injured and arrested by the police. 

In an injured state, the police rushed the miscreant to the hospital for treatment. During interrogation, the accused confessed to having committed several robberies and police have recovered illegal arms, cartridges and a bike from his possession. The miscreant has been identified as Moni's son Jagpal resident of village Ghungharala police station Hafizpur district Hapur. In fact, the police team was searching the vehicles. In the meantime, they received information that a vicious crook was coming riding on a bike. A few days ago he was involved in an attempt to rob the petrol pump. On this information, the police team was alerted and then the vicious crook was seen coming.

Seeing the police, the accused entered the forest of Tyala. After which the police started cordoning off the forest. Seeing himself surrounded, the miscreant started firing at the police. In retaliation, the miscreant was injured when the police bullet hit him in the leg.
