Kaimur: A man slit his wife's throat with a sharp-edged weapon from Kaimur in Bihar and fled. As soon as the Tahrir was received, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem and started the investigation of the case. The police arrested the criminal from Dalmiyanagar in Rohtas district within 36 hours. During interrogation, the criminal told the police that he killed his wife because she was protesting against his illicit relationship.
Apart from this, the police arrested the girlfriend of the criminal from Bhabua Road railway station in the incident of abetment to murder. This case is of Baghini village of Mohaniya police station area. On the night of 15 April, Janak Chaudhary took his wife out of the house near Banswadi and attacked her with a sharp weapon. The criminal husband had fled from the spot after committing the incident. As soon as the in-laws got the news of this grief, the mother-in-law of the deceased died of a heart attack.
Mohania DSP Faiz Ahmed Khan said that after the registration of the FIR, the police checked the phone of the criminal and it was found that he had talked to a woman on mobile for a long time before and after the murder. On the basis of technical research, the police arrested the criminal husband from Dalmiyanagar in Rohtas district and his girlfriend Ruby Devi was arrested from Bhabua Road railway station. After interrogation, both confessed their crime. Apart from this, DSP Faiz Ahmed Khan told that the criminal man had illicit relations with a woman from the same village. His wife was opposing it. Thereafter, the two had a fight and the criminal killed his wife. The deceased woman has 3 children.
