Rampur: The police administration has made a big mistake in the FIR being lodged against senior Samajwadi Party leader and MP from Rampur Lok Sabha seat Azam Khan, his MP wife Tanzin Fatima, MLA son Abdullah, brother and sister etc. A case was registered in the new FIR nominating Azam Khan's mother, who passed away in 2013. Knowing the mistake, the District Magistrate has now directed the police to remove her name from the FIR.
Earlier, a case has been registered against 37 people including Azam Khan's elder son Adeeb Azam Khan for possession of land. This is a matter related to the land of the gallows house located behind Rampur jail. A few days ago, on the complaint of BJP leader Akash Saxena, the District Magistrate had set up an inquiry. According to the information, after investigation on this matter on Friday (September 20), a case has been registered in Ganj Kotwali. Section 420, 447 and Section 3 (2) b of the Public Property Loss Prevention Act 1984 have also been imposed against Adeeb Azam in the FIR.
Additional District Officer JP Gupta has told that the land of gate number 7 and 8 which is recorded by the jail administration has a lot of intelligence. His purchase has been sold. It was bought and sold among about 30 people. An FIR has been made against him. Because no one has the right to buy or sell it. This is government land.
