Bijnor: The shameful act of a teacher of Veera College of Engineering and Management in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh has come to light. Teacher Arshad neither used to chat with the girl students by sending obscene messages on WhatsApp but also asking them to get married. After the case came to light, the girl students along with their family members, Hindu organisations and ABVP activists protested outside the college shouting slogans for an hour. The matter calmed down after police intervention. On the other hand, the college management has suspended teacher Arshad.

According to media reports, the college belongs to Veera, a former MLA of the Samajwadi Party (SP). College teacher Arshad had sent obscene messages to a student on WhatsApp. When the student spoke to other girl students on the teacher's message, she came to know that she had sent similar messages to several girl students before. The student informed her family members and officials of the ABVP. On Monday (December 13, 2021), family members of the girl students and activists of ABVP reached the college and protested there.

She demanded strict legal action against the accused teacher Arshad. As the matter escalated, the rest of the teachers also tried to calm the matter by asking them to suspend the accused teacher. The teacher's WhatsApp chats are also going viral on social media. The teacher is sending a proposal to the girl students till marriage.
