On Monday, the Delhi Metro was given the task of making DPR for the construction of ropeway in Dehradun. Under the agreement between Delhi Metro and top officials of the Uttarakhand government, DPR will be ready within the next 4 to 6 months. After this, the transport system will be started through ropeway in about 2 years. Officials of Delhi Metro and Uttarakhand Metro signed an MoU regarding this.

Madan Kaushik said that the completion of this project will take 2 to 2.5 years. This project will be completed at a much lower cost than the metro. According to Kaushik, the project will cost 2 thousand crores rupees.
