Dehradun: In many states of the country these days the rain has created a situation of crisis. At this time, in Pithoragarh city of Uttarakhand, after Saturday, even on Sunday night, the clouds wreaked havoc. Three people of Galla village have died. The names of the dead are Sher Singh, Govindi and Mamta. Three people are said to be missing due to the house being demolished in Galla village, while five are seriously injured. Three houses were also washed away with debris that came out of the hill due to landslides in the village of Tanga in the same tehsil. In this whole incident, the administration has confirmed the disappearance of seven people.

Let us tell you that for the last two days, people of the entire frontier are in awe, seeing the raging form of the weather. The maximum rainfall in more than 12 villages of the tehsil has caused massive destruction. Families who have come under threat, are being shifted. Both the roads leading to Munsiyari are also closed. After this, DM Vijay Kumar Jogandde told in his statement that SDRF and medical team have been sent to the affected areas. One injured has been rescued. Tanakpur-Tawaghat road has been closed due to excess debris and falling boulder in Dobat. Debris has also occurred in many areas on the Tawaghat-Ghattabgarh-Lipulekh road.

With this, the closure of this road connecting the China border is causing a lot of trouble to the people of seven villages of Vyas Valley as well as security forces going for worship. Drinking water schemes have also been swept away by landslides. Pedestrian bridges and roads have also been damaged in some areas. Due to torrential rains, the road has turned into Rokhar from the rainy stream which came out of the SDM office premises in Munsiyari. Due to the debris entering more than 35 shops of the same city, the entire stuff kept in the shop has gone bad. Many houses in Balauta village of Munsiyari have been threatened due to excessive rainfall. Now the government is thinking carefully to save the people from this terrible situation.
