These days, people are turning to the mountains, disturbed by the heat. Due to this, the covid protocol is also being flouted. A large number of tourists have been seen in Uttarakhand in the recent past and this has increased the risk of the corona. Seeing a large number of tourists, Uttarakhand police were strict last Saturday and sent back about 2000 tourist vehicles before going to Mussoorie for not following the Covid protocol. Yes, the police carried out a checking operation last Saturday by installing barriers at Komal Gate on Dehradun-Mussoorie main road and Kimadi on the alternative route.

Meanwhile, a jam of about 3 km was observed on Mussoorie Road and 2,000 vehicles were returned by 5 pm. Let me tell all of you that due to the removal of lockdown, the Uttarakhand Government had exempted the RT-PCR report for tourists coming to the State, but it has now been re-made necessary to control the crowd. In fact, if a person has to enter Uttarakhand, it is mandatory to register on corona negative report, hotel or guest house booking details, and smart city portal within 72 hours.

Vehicles returning from Mussoorie and vehicles returned from barriers were sent through Old Mussoorie Road from Kunal Gate last Saturday. Several tourists objected to the barrier. In fact, tourists from Delhi-NCR looked very angry during this period. He said that "he left home on Friday night. The new rule came to light after coming here on Saturday morning. Not only that, he said that the government should have issued such guidelines in advance so that tourists do not suffer.''
