Dehradun: On October 2, people living in about 30-gram panchayats in Uttarakhand can be provided with Prime Minister Ownership Cards. The Revenue and Panchayat Department as well as the Survey of India are engaged in this work. On getting the ownership card, people of these villages will be able to buy and sell houses, shops etc. like cities. On National Panchayat Day on April 24, PM Narendra Modi announced this ownership plan.

He had said that the people of the village will be given ownership of their property under this plan. This plan has been started in Almora, Pauri, and Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand. According to the Revenue Department, the Survey of India has started work in these three cities. Ownership cards are also to be made available to the people of about thirty-gram panchayats of these three cities.

According to the department, directions for the center have also been issued. The plan is that on October 2, Prime Minister Modi should provide ownership cards to these villagers. According to Revenue Secretary Sushil Kumar, the ownership card will record the details of each property of the person living in the gram panchayat. The person concerned will be able to get a loan based on this card from the bank. The part race of the departments regarding the same plan can be estimated from this, that this plan is being reviewed twice a week at the level of governance. This plan includes revenue and panchayat as well as the Survey of India.
