Uttarakhand police sent a man to quarantine center for playing cricket during lockdown

Rudraprayag: In Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, the district administration team reprimanded Mohit Negi and immediately sent him to the Institutional Quarantine Center at Sumerpur. In fact, the administration received a complaint that in some villages of Rudraprayag district, home quarantine is not being followed by people from outside states.

On this complaint, the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police visited the area for surprise inspection. During this, Mohit Negi, who came to his house from Jaipur, was found playing cricket in violation of the rules. The investigation team registered a case against him under 188 IPC and Disaster Management Act 2004 and immediately sent him to the Institutional Quarantine Center at Sumerpur.

Let us tell you that 11 teams have been formed in the district to keep an eye on people coming from outside states and abroad. It has been warned that if similarly people from outside states and countries are not found roaming outside or following home quarantine, then they will be immediately sent to the Institutional Quarantine Center at Sumerpur and strict action will be taken.
