Dehradun: The father-daughter relationship has been tarnished by another young father. The young father of Nepal origin continued to rob the 13-year-old minor daughter under the influence of alcohol. When the mystery was revealed, NGO Reeds has registered a case against the father under various sections including rape and POSCO Act. Police are investigating the case and are trying to arrest the ruthless father.

The same criminal, a resident of Nepal origin, cultivates in a share in Pachpakaria. Fed up with her husband's drunken behaviour, his wife left home some time ago, leaving her daughters, 15 and 13, and a 10-year-old son. Both daughters and sons live with the father. It was reported that her elder daughter had fled the house on September 26, which was searched by the police and handed over to the Ujjwala Rehabilitation Centre of Reeds Institute. It was reported that the workers of the institute were shocked when he revealed the secret of his father's poverty in the interrogation at the rehabilitation centre.

According to Janak Chand, co-ordinator of the institute, the cruel father not only assaulted the three children under the influence of alcohol but also robbed the 13-year-old younger daughter. On exposure of the father's plight, a case under Sections 376, 323, 504, 506 and 3/4, 5/6 POSCO Act of IPC has been registered against the criminal father in the police station on behalf of the institution. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Mr Singh said, efforts are being made to arrest the criminal father as soon as the case is registered.
