Social Welfare Department will make people aware against intoxication through traditional art apps. For this, the department will make an apple painting on the walls of its offices, schools and hostels. The work of making paintings is expected to start from this week itself. Apart from this, the Social Welfare Department has been given the responsibility of de-addiction program by the Central Government. People will be made aware against this. District Social Welfare Officer Hemlata Pandey has started the program.

These institutes will have their painting done
In the first phase, there is a plan to have an app painting done in the District Social Welfare Office at Survey Chowk. After this, the government hostel of the department located in Kandoli and the government ashram system in Bhagat Singh Colony will be in the school. Along with this, students will also be told the importance of the app.

Appan folk art
Appan is a famous folk art / painting of Uttarakhand, which is also well liked in the country and abroad. Apart from this, in Kumaon, there is a tradition of making folk art on the door frame and walls in Deepawali, Devi Pujan, Lakshmi Pujan, Yajna, Havan, Janeu Sanskar, Chhath Karma, Shiv Pujan, Marriage, Fast-festival. At the same time, in the passage from the courtyard of the house to the temples, the art is made. At the same time, he is the first to paint with ocher. After that, pictures are made with Biswar (making rice flour solution) on it. These pictures are considered auspicious.
