Monsoon in Uttarakhand is expected to hit on 23 June. Along with this, an alert of heavy rain has been issued by the Meteorological Department in six districts on Monday. According to the Meteorological Department, strong showers may occur at many places in these districts including Dehradun. There was sunshine on Sunday morning amid light clouds across the state including the capital. However, it remained dark for a long time due to solar eclipse. Due to this, the temperature also declined. It was sunny in the afternoon.

For your information, let us tell you that on Monday, Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rains in Nainital, Champawat, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh and Pauri, including the state capital Dehradun. According to Meteorological Director Bikram Singh, there may be heavy showers at many places. Apart from this, light to moderate rains are also expected in other parts of the state. According to a bulletin issued by the Meteorological Department on Sunday, the monsoon is likely to hit Uttar Pradesh as well as in many parts of Uttarakhand, especially in the Western Himalayan region on June 23.

The Meteorological Department has issued a weekly bulletin, which will cause heavy rains and heavy rains in many parts of the state for the next four days. According to weather department director Bikram Singh, the monsoon has gained momentum. The speed at which the monsoon moves to Ahmedabad, Indore is moving forward.
