After the knocking of monsoon in Uttarakhand, the weather remains poor in most areas on Wednesday. Most areas, including the capital Dehradun, are cloudy, while rain continues intermittently at some places. Slow rain started in Dehradun at around ten in the morning. There has been a significant drop in temperature due to rains in Mussoorie. Bageshwar, Kashipur, Ramnagar, Pithoragarh, Lohaghat, Almora have been receiving intermittent rains since early in the morning. Director of Meteorological Center Bikram Singh said that the monsoon will reach the entire Western Himalayan region during the next 48 hours. Due to this, heavy rains may occur at some places in Dehradun, Tehri, Nainital, Champawat and Pithoragarh districts today. By June 26, most areas may receive heavy rainfall. On June 25, heavy to very heavy rains may occur at Nainital, Pithoragarh, and Dehradun.

Heavy rains may occur at select places in Tehri, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Udham Singh Nagar, Champawat, and Bageshwar. The rain in Bageshwar caused waterlogging. Water entered the houses here. Saryu river is in spate at Bageshwar. The police is appealing not to go near the river. Kaladhungi-Haldwani road, a huge tree fell on the main highway in Bhakra forest. A car hit the tree. Teachers left in it narrowly. Due to the stoppage of traffic, there has been a long queue of vehicles on both sides. Haldwani Bareilly Road, Gaura Padao Gaup near Gaula Gate saw several dumpers drowned in the torrential flow of Gaula while Yamunotri Highway in Barkot, Uttarkashi, again blocked the Yamunotri Highway on Tuesday night. The highway has been blocked in Dubarkot. The highway has been transformed into the marsh. The Lipulek road connecting the China border remained closed for more than two hours due to debris caused by heavy rains. This led to trouble for the people.

More than seven internal roads were also closed due to rain, in which more than four roads have been opened. In the borderless Pithoragarh district, Berinag received the highest 10 mm rainfall. 5.0 mm of rainfall was recorded in Didihat, 0.6 in Dharchula, and 2.0 mm in Munsiyari. Due to heavy rains, the road near Thal- Hardia was closed for some time, which Lonivi opened in time. Due to rain, Nachni-Bansabgarh, Kota Sama-Tejam, Sosa-Sirkha, Tawaghat-Sobla, Madkot-Darma, Pauri Ghatkuna road. Closed, causing people trouble. Due to continuous rains, the internal roads of Pithoragarh city are getting waterlogged due to potholes everywhere. Due to which people are facing trouble. Former Congress District President Mukesh Pant has demanded to fill the pits in the internal roads of the city. The water level of the rivers is continuously increasing due to the rains in various parts of the Pithoragarh district. The Kali River is flowing one meter below the danger mark at 888.05 meters. Its danger mark is 890 meters. The Gori river is flowing two meters below the Jauljibi danger mark. Its water level was measured at 606.80 cusecs. The Saryu River is flowing at 445.50 and the Gori River at Madkot 1211.48.
