Amidst the joy of Ramlala's life consecration in Ayodhya, it will be pleasant to know that Valamiki Ramayana and Shri Ramcharit Manas written in Urdu are preserved in the library of Darul Uloom, Asia's largest Madrasa. The Urdu translation of Shri Ramcharit Manas was done by Maharishi Swami Shiv Barat Lal Burman (MA) in 1921. This translation of 1321 pages was published by JS Sant Singh and Sons of Lahore. 

Not only this, the 272-page Urdu translation of the epic Ramayana written by Maharishi Valmiki was done in 1949 by Kirtan Kalanidhi Bani Bhushan Natiya Acharya Mahakavi Shiv Narayan Taskin. It was published by Gelaram and Sons of Delhi. Its second edition is available in the library.
