Vande Bharat Express was launched in 2019. It is India’s first rolled-out semi-high-speed train. Train 18 is India’s fastest EMU electric multiple-unit train. Its highest speed is 180km/h. which is India’s first fastest train. Vande Bharat is designed as completely air-conditioned and equipped with an automatic plug door. It has to onboard Wi-Fi service and infotainment out of many other modern facilities.
The train 18 was the initial name of the train but later it was renamed to Vande Bharat because it was completely made in India by the Indian engineers.
