After showcasing a clinical performance in the last event, Vani Kapoor will look to keep the momentum going in the 9th Leg of the Hero Women’s Professional Golf Tour at Clover Greens starting on 22nd June, and will aim to consolidate her position atop the Hero Order of Merit.

The INR 6,00,000 event featuring 13 professionals will culminate on 24th June. Trailing her in second position was Kolkata's Neha Tripathi at one-under 71.

The Rs 6,00,000 event will culminate on June 17. Kapoor started impressively and played a blemish-free front-nine with a birdie on the eighth hole.

She faltered and carded a bogey on the 12th hole in her back-nine, but quickly regained her composure and fired four consecutive birdies on the 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th holes to finish the round at four-under 68.

Vani led the field from the very first round and kept getting better by the day to claim the title by a huge margin of 16 shots over Gursimar. She started impressively, playing a blemish free front-nine with two birdies on the fourth and seventh holes.

The Delhi girl added three more birdies to her tally on the 14th, 17th and 18th holes, while dropping just a single shot on the 15th. In the process, she demolished all opposition and finished the round with a total score of 206 after 54 holes.
