Who does not know the famous actress of Marathi's film Varsha Usgaonkar in today's time, she always remains in discussions due to something or the other. Today, she is celebrating her birthday. Not only this, Varsha Usgaonkar has won the hearts of his fans on the basis of his acting. She acted as the lead actress in the Bollywood films Ghar Aaya Mera Pardesi and Pathreela Raasta. In 2005, she appeared in the Bollywood film Mangal Pandey: The Rising as a supporting actress.

In the controversial Hindi feature film, Jigyasa directed by Faisal Saif, she played the mother of Harshita Bhatt. Usgaonkar started his television career in 1988 in the role of Uttara, Abhimanyu's wife and Parikshit's mother (the future of the Bharat Dynasty TV serial Mahabharata). Bhumika offered him several Hindi films and most of them were not successful at the box office. She played the role of Roopmati (Snake Queen) in the 1994 TV serial Chandrakanta. She has appeared with Aakash Zep and Eka Mekansathi, and she has acted in the Hindi television serials Alvida Darling, Tanha and Anhonee.

Her most prominent performance was in the TV serial Jhansi Ki Rani on Doordarshan in the 1990s, in which she played the lead role of Rani Laxmibai. Ushgaonkar sang along with Ulhas Buao in the Konkani music album. She is currently playing the supporting role of Nandini Yashwant Shirke-Patil in the Marathi channel Star Pravah's popular show Sukh Mhanje Nakki Kay Asta.
