Many stars of Bollywood performed at an event of Filmfare Awards held in Mumbai. The energetic actor Varun Dhawan had a very power-packed performance. He performed on his best dancing numbers like Jee Karda (Badlapur) and Main Tera Hero (Main Tera Hero).

Later, Alia joined Varun on stage and they danced on the title track of their forthcoming film 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania.' As per the reports, when Varun was performing on the stage, a mishap took place. His guitar burst out.

As per an onlooker, "Varun's act started at 3 am. It was a highly energetic performance and his guitar suddenly burst mid- act."

They added further, "Flames erupted and his jacket caught fire as well. A few sparks also flew in Rekhaji's direction. Though there was a fire extinguisher close by, Varun continued dancing so as to avoid disrupting the show.

Luckily, it wasn't anything major." The news is confirmed by Varun's spokesperson also that he is safe and unhurt.
