New Delhi: BJP MP Varun Gandhi has become corona infected. He has tweeted about this. Along with this, he has written in the caption that, 'Corona is showing very serious symptoms in him.' In fact, Varun Gandhi has told through his post that, 'He has been present in Pilibhit for three days, and during this, his corona report has come positive.' Varun Gandhi has written in his tweet, 'During three days of my stay in Pilibhit, my corona report has come positive and the symptoms are looking very strong. We are now in the middle of a third wave and an election campaign. The Election Commission should direct the candidates and political workers to apply booster doses also. The cases of corona have started increasing in Pilibhit also. 12 new cases have been reported in the district in 24 hours. The total number of corona patients in the district has gone up to 20 and 4223 new corona cases were reported in UP on 8th January. One person died of illness. The active cases in the State are said to have increased to 12,327.

Varun Gandhi, an MP from Pilibhit, is often in the news for criticizing his own BJP government. Last month, Varun Gandhi had questioned the decision to impose night curfew in various states including Uttar Pradesh and election rallies saying that imposing curfew at night and inviting lakhs of people to rallies during the day is beyond the comprehension of the general public.
