Noted entertainment veteran Naseeruddin Shah has been admitted in Hinduja Hospital on June 29 due to ill health. The actor is expected to have Pneumonia. A patch was recently found in his lungs after which it was decided to admit Naseeruddin in the hospital. His manager currently gave the actor's health update and said that he is better condition.

At the same time, the manager said, 'He is in the hospital. He was brought here because of Pneumonia. At present, his health is still in a state of disrepair and is improving'. Naseeruddin, who was undergoing treatment after being admitted in the hospital on Tuesday, is now in good health. The manager said he will be discharged from the hospital very soon.

Naseeruddin's health was also much talked about at the time of actor Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor's death last year. His son Vivaan Shah later termed the father's reports as rumours. Naseeruddin Shah, 70, who is admitted to the hospital, is accompanied by his wife Ratna Pathak. Naseeruddin has been a part of many great films. This includes names including Masoom, Tridev, Sarfarosh, Maqbool, Iqbal, Banaras,The Dirty Picture.
