Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham’s Pathaan is one of the most awaited films of the year. Pathaan hit the theatre screen today. However, the protests against Pathaan are also started because of saffron color of Deepika’s Bikini in the film. However makers has already done some changes in the film.
Earlier several reports stated that close-up shots of buttocks, side-pose, and sensuous dance movements during the lyrics Bahut Tang Kiya have been removed from the Besharam Rang. However, the shots remained in the film but the duration of the entire sequence has been reduced.
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has said that it will not oppose Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's movie Pathaan as the suggested changes made in the film are correct. VHP spokesperson Shriraj Nair, "For the time being, VHP will not oppose the film Pathaan. Keeping our earlier objections in mind, the changes made in the film are correct. After watching the film, if we find anything objectionable, then we'll reconsider opposing the film".
VHP announced that it will not protest against the movie but some members of the organisation were even now boycotting the film. Recently a video of VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) supporters took to Bangalore streets with posters that read 'Boycott Pathaan'. In the viral video, protestors gathered outside cinema halls to call for a boycott of the film. A news agency sharing the news wrote, "Karnataka: VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) supporters protest against the release of Shah Rukh Khan's movie 'Pathaan' in Bangalore, burn posters."
Pathaan, marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen in over four years. The action thriller also stars John Abraham and is directed by Siddharth Aanand. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on January 25, 2023. It will be released in Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions apart from Hindi. The film is releasing in record-breaking 100+ countries and will screen in more than 2500 screens overseas alone.
