The actor recently spoke at the 68th Filmfare Awards in Mumbai about teaching Katrina some Punjabi fundamentals. He further admitted that whenever he heard her speak in Punjabi, he felt like passing out. In the comments section, admirers extolled their union.
In a recent conversation on the red carpet, Vicky, who just lit up the stage with his performance at the 68th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2023 in Mumbai, talked about his marriage. When asked for his best marital advise, he was speaking to Anusha Dandekar. The actor from Uri joked that since he has only been married for a little over a year, he is technically pretty new to the entire advising category and that he should actually be the one giving advise to others. He continued by saying that the only piece of advise he could provide was to get married.
Later, he discussed the Punjabi phrases Katrina Kaif had learned. On the red carpet, Vicky mentioned learning the words "Ki haal chaal" and "haal chaal badhiya ne" from Karan Wahi and Anushka Dandekar. In addition, he said, "Whatever little Punjabi she knows, I faint afterwards" (Thodsi bhi Punjabi aati hai). No matter what she says, according to the infatuated husband, his heart skips a beat the instant his wife speaks in Punjabi.
