New Delhi:-  Victor Martins secured back-to-back pole positions in F2 qualifying at Silverstone to secure his third P1 start of the 2023 season Campos Racing's Kush Maini was relegated to the front of the grid, conserving his best.

Maini's second-place finish secured his first front-row start in an F2 feature race and the best result of an impressive rookie season. DAMS 3rd place went to Ayumu Iwasa. The drivers of the Red Bull Junior Team, who set the pace in the free practice, were fighting for pole position until the end, but they could not catch up with Martins' pace at the crucial point.

The session was interrupted by two red flag interruptions. The first came after Invicta Virtuosi Racing's Amaury Cordell crashed. The Belgian spun in the first 10 minutes and hit a cordon in a thicket. His second suspension to fix the session timer saw a flurry of second-half improvements as he had less than five minutes left in the session.

Championship leader Frédéric Vesti spun at the end of the session and finished 10th, but Saturday's sprint race will start from the opposite starting position.
