At the same time, vehicles were also seen flowing in the river water stream. In the past, an alternative route was created to facilitate the movement of people and small vehicles. The situation has now worsened considerably since the night rains. There has also been a video of the route being completely closed. In Himachal Pradesh, a mountain collapsed near the Jori area of the capital Shimla yesterday. This blocked NH-5.
The road was completely closed and the debris of the hill accumulated there. The large rocks of the broken mountain fell down with a loud voice. On finding out, the administration sent SDM Rampur and police personnel to the spot to check the situation. The higher authorities also left after receiving the information. However, no human or property damage has been reported in the landslide at NH-5, but the road has been blocked.
