He explained that he liked the role that he was given by director Lokesh Kanagaraj. He did not want to miss playing such a strong role in the film 'Master' as it was a negative role.

Meanwhile, the final schedule of 'Master' is happening in Chennai, and the film is expected to be wrapped up soon. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film has a huge star cast which includes Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andra Jeremiah, Arjun Das, Shantanu Bhagyaraj and others. The film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and is produced by XB filmmakers Xavier Brito.
