He is always in the headlines due to one of his films, while Chyvan is shooting for his film with promising director Ajay Gnanamuthu and this movie is 'Cobra'. The director has recently scheduled Kolkata, and is ready for the next schedule of the film. According to the same reports, Chyvan Vikram's 'Cobra' is being slated to appear on the big screen on May 22, before the festival of Ramadan, which falls the next day. The release date has not yet been confirmed by the makers of Cobra.

Meanwhile, according to media reports, the first look of 'Cobra' is expected to be released this month as director Ajay Gnanamuthu has assured fans through his Twitter account in a post last week. Recently, Shane Nigam was replaced by Malayalam actor Sarajano Khalid, who starred alongside Mohan Lal in the Malayalam film 'Big Brother'. Shooting of 'Cobra' is currently being done in Chennai and the team has planned to shoot their upcoming shows in Europe and Russia.

When the cast was being selected for 'Cobra', Chyvan Vikram was selected for this film, 'KGF' famous Srinidhi Shetty, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan, popular director KS Ravikumar and many others. Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman will perform the music for the film, while cinematography will be handled by Sivakumar Vijayan. The film, produced by Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studios, will reportedly be a multi-lingual one that may be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
