As per teaser, Anand Deverakonda plays a government school teacher whose newlywed status is jeopardised due to his wife's alleged elopement with a bodybuilder. Sunil portrays a cop who is on the lookout for Anand's wife. The film appears to include both healthy comedy and situational humour, as well as societal stigma.

The film is a dark comedy directed by Damodara and presented by Vijay Deverakonda. Damodar is directing the film, which is being produced by Vijay Deverakonda's King of the Hill Productions and Tanga Productions.

Vijay Deverakond unveiled the first look and a wedding song from the film Kalyanam a few days ago, both of which were positively appreciated by the audience. The film's posters were also an instant hit.

Ram Miriyala, Sidharth Sadasivuni, Mark K Robin, and Amit N Dasani composed the music for the film. The movie has been announced, and it will be released in theatres on November 12th.
