Villareal were the last team to secure a place in the last-16 of Champions League football. In their final Group F match, Villareal defeated Atlanta 3-2 with 2 goals from Arnot Danzuma. The match could not be played on Wednesday due to snowfall in northern Italy.
Reports suggest that Spanish team Villareal only needed a draw to move on. Danzuma (3rd, 51st minute) and Etine (42nd minute) scored for him. According to reports, Salan Malinowski (71st minute) and Duwan Japata (80th minute) scored one goal each for Atlanta.
