Shark Tank Fame Vineeta Singh, One of the most successful women businesswomen in India has recently opened up about the trolls she faces online. Vineeta talks about the struggles of a woman as she is a successful businesswoman but after all, people only comment on her looks.

Vineeta talked about the trolls usually commenting on her looks not on her skills. She added, “I am CEO of a company and even now people comment ‘you don’t look good enough', ‘you started a makeup brand because you look so bad’, people say such negative things,” she said that she no longer reads comments on her posts. She added, "Your appearance, as a woman, is given so much importance. Even on Instagram, I’ve achieved so much in life, but when I post something, 95% of the comments are about the way you look. It’s one of those things. It’s a by-product of being a girl."

Speaking about how people treat men and women differently Vineeta said, "Nobody asked why does Steve Jobs wear the same shirts. It was fine for Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs to wear the same T-shirt," she added.

Vineeta said that people also ridicule her for starting a make-up business (Sugar Cosmetics) rather than something more ‘serious’. However, she rubbishes their opinion because such people would think the same if she had started a ‘steel empire’ too.
