Kolkata: As soon as the panchayat elections are announced in West Bengal, clashes and violence have started in different areas of the state like every time. In view of this, a delegation of Bengal BJP met Governor CV Anand Bose and demanded the deployment of central forces during the elections. He also demanded CCTV surveillance during elections and no deployment of civic volunteers during elections.

 

According to the report, Bengal BJP unit president Sukanta Majumdar has said that the state elections have been announced without any consultation.
