Viraf Patel, who ruled the hearts of fans with his stellar performances in 'Ek Bund Ishq' and 'Naamkarann' serials, married his girlfriend Saloni Khanna in a unique way by wearing a rubber band in bandra court on May 6 this year. But now the two will start preparing for the wedding again and the reason behind this is the happiness of Saloni's grandmother.
Viraf said Saloni's grandmother is a little unhappy about not being able to attend the wedding and the two will remarry when the time is right to keep their heart. Viraf said, "Grandma had a video call the day after the wedding and she was crying. I told them why you were crying and she said I have to know if my baby is happy or not because she did not wear any good clothes at the wedding. We wear coloured clothes here. Then I told them that the saree was chosen by your daughter. She had to wear an off-white saree and chose the same colour"
Then she cried and said, "We did not wear any jewellery, no coloured clothes, nor were any of us there." Then I consoled Dadi that you should stay for a few days, when everything is a little fine, we will come to Delhi and we will do wherever you say". Further he added, 'Saloni thought she didn't have to turn around and she had to marry quietly what we did. But to keep grandma's heart and celebrate her that day, Saloni Madam agreed that she would take rounds with me as per the wedding ceremonies whenever the time was right. Then Grandma's heart was relaxed and she started smiling"
