Virat Kohli breaks the record of legendary duo Sachin-Lara

World No.1 batsman (Test+ODI) Virat Kohli continues to fill his wealth of achievements. The 30-year-old Virat continues to make a consistent record. In the World Cup match against the West Indies yesterday, they were all out for 37 runs in their 72-run innings.

As he scored 37 against the Caribbean team in Manchester on Thursday, he also clinched the world record of completing the fastest 20,000 international runs (Test+ ODI + T20 International) and Virat did it in 417 innings. He also beat cricket legends Lara and Sachin.

Both played 453 innings to do this feat. Virat is the 12th batsman in the world and India's third batsman to touch the 20,000-run mark in international cricket. The list of Indian batsmen who scored more international runs than Virat Kohli now comes in the numbers of cricket's god Sachin Tendulkar (34,357) and Rahul Dravid (24,208).
