Former Australia veteran spinner Brad Hogg selected his best ODI team. He has taken only those players in his team who are currently playing ODI cricket. He has also taken care of the players whom Hog has given in his best ODI XI, how he performed in the last year i.e. 2019. Brad Hogg has selected the two best batsmen for the opening, which includes Rohit Sharma and David Warner. In the year 2019, Rohit and Warner were in first and second position in terms of scoring runs in One Day World Cup. For number three, he selected Virat Kohli, who has also been made the captain of the team. As the number four batsman, he could not select any particular player, due to which he has placed number three batsman Babar Azam to bat in his team on this order. For number seven, he has expressed his confidence in Indian spin all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. He has picked Mohammed Shami, Mitchell Starc and Lockie Ferguson as the fast bowlers, while Yuzvendra Chahal has been included as a leg-spinner in his team. He said that Aaron Finch and Kane Williamson could not make a place in his team even after a good performance in 2019. Regarding Finch, he said that his conversion rate was not good last year while Kane stayed out of the team due to his lower strike rate. About Trent Bolt and Pat Cummins, he said that he was very economical, but his strike rate was not very good due to which he was not selected in the team.
