New Delhi: Captain Virat Kohli held a press conference ahead of the T20 World Cup match against New Zealand. Virat Kohli reacted to Mohammed Shami's online trolling following the defeat to Pakistan. Our focus is not on the drama outside, we are focusing entirely on the match, captain Virat Kohli said. Virat said it was totally wrong to target anyone on the basis of religion.

Captain Kohli further said that ''some people who hide their identities and do this kind of thing have become normal today. This is not good when they harass someone like this. We keep the atmosphere right in our dressing room and keep our players together. Whatever drama was created outside completely reflects their mistakes.'' Virat Kohli made it clear that it is absolutely wrong to target a person on the basis of his religion. ''I have never discriminated against anyone like this, that's the only thing some people do. If no one can see passion in Mohammed Shami's game, I don't want to waste my time.''

Let us tell you that when India lost against Pakistan, some Pakistani social media handles trolled Mohammed Shami on Instagram for spreading hatred in India, after which some Indians also joined in. However, most Indians were seen supporting Shami.
