Indian Grandmaster Vishwanathan Anand faced fifth consecutive loss in the $ 150000 Legends of Chase online tournament. Viswanathan had to face 2-3 defeat against Peter Leko of Hungary. Former world champion Anand got off to a good start and won the first match of the best of four games, although the next two games were drawn.

After this, Leko won the last match and made the match on par. The Hungarian player then won another tiebreak to ensure another defeat for Anand. Anand has not been able to name any match so far and is running on the last place in the points table.

Let me tell you that Viswanathan Anand, playing for the first time on the Magnus Carlson Chess Tour, had earlier suffered defeat against Magnus Carlson, Peter Swidler, Anish Giri and Vladimir Kramnik. At the same time, the world's No.1 player Carlson made a strong comeback, defeating the experienced Vecil Ivanchuk 3-2.
